The future of Photography

One of Layla's favorite birthday gifts was her own camera from my Mom and Dad.  It's a Vtech Kidszoom, so relatively indestructible and has some fun options for photos that kids will enjoy.  She hasn't quite gotten the hang of staying still while the camera takes the photo, so about 90% of the pictres are out-of-focus.  Here are a few of my favorites:

There are a lot of pictures from around the yard, this works out much better since there is no flash involved.  Here is a favorite flower from Grandma Carol's garden.

One of the neighbor's kids (at the lake) caught a turtle and named him "Steve".  He wanted to keep him for the turtle races, but we all agreed Steve would be better off in the wild than in a rubber storage bin for 4 days.  Steve's short stay was well documented amongst the kids.

There are a lot of pictures of Jayden riding in the car. 

Aside from the yard and her brother, anything on the counter is fair game to photograph including tupperware, toys, and (shown here) spice jars.  They are in adorable frame, making them even more charming.
