Awards

Last week our dear friend and Jayden's Godfather, Abdullah, received the Superintendent's Award of Valor from the City of Chicago.  As one of Chicago's finest he is often in danger and rises to the occasion every day.  This is "An award for an act of outstanding bravery or heroism, by which the recipient has demonstrated in great degree the characteristics of selflessness, personal courage and devotion to duty".  Needless to say, we are tremendously proud of him and pray every day that he stays safe while working to protect others.
