About a month ago I met with a new client to look at a Kitchen remodel. He shared with us the story of his little girl, Sophia, who was born with a heart having only three chambers and underwent a heart transplant on Christmas. Normally, I don't cry at client meetings, but it was hard not to.
Sophia has survived the most harrowing ordeal and has been blessed to survive. How hard it must be to pray for your child to live, when you know it means that someone else must lose theirs. The story is incredibly sad and happy at the same time. It makes me feel so lucky to have a child born with good health.

Two weeks ago, Sophia welcomed her baby sister, Cara into the world. Sophia is thriving and these 'Irish Twins' have much to look forward to in the future.
