On Friday, Steve and Jason had to go to deliver some fish, so Layla and I headed out on our own adventure to Appleton. It's about a 40 minute drive from Steve and Annie's. Layla did not sleep but enjoyed the country drive shouting to me approximately every 30 seconds, "Look mommy, horses! (pigs!, cows!, etc. etc.)"
Mom and Dad had bought us a family pass for the Kohl's children's museum nearby and it is good for the whole network of children's museums. The one in Appleton is called the "Building for Kids." It had some really fun exhibits, I won't show them all, but it was definitely worth the trip and we will be back again.

Looks like a fun time. Her hair is getting so long! We have a membership to the children's museum network, too. We should take the kids when you're in town. Ours covers both the Children's and Science Museums in St. Paul.
That would be fun if we could work out a time to do it. If not, we will have to make a point for the next visit!
