We had another little visitor this week. Bridgette and Maddie came to visit and brought a chocolate coffee cake from Deerfield's Bakery. YUM YUM YUM. When you come visit we will get one. They are delicious. Fortunately, I have been charged by my doctor and Layla's to eat lots of extra calories. These might not be the best quality calories from a nutrition standpoint, but they taste the best! Maddie turned 3 this summer and declared after leaving us (Bridge reported later) that she liked Layla and that Layla was lots of fun. Considering Layla doesn't interact with others yet, Maddie can only have more fun from here on out.
