Baby Bumblebee

Here is our baby bumblebee. It's about bath time so she is a little grumpy and she is tired of us flashing the camera in her face! We will try her again this weekend to see if we can get a smile. Daycare had a Halloween Parade today in the gymnasium. Jason and I were five minutes late and missed the actual parading part of the event, but we got to see all the kids dressed up and our Layla sound asleep in the double stroller. She was paired up with another little girl just 9 days younger (although a lot smaller) and dressed as a ladybug. They were the infant insect duo. The other babies were in the buggies: they have these 8 seat carts that they take all the babies for walks in. It's hysterical - it has a red striped canopy. When it's crummy outside (when is it not, lately?) they walk them around indoors.


It was fun seeing all the kiddos. My favorite costume of the day was a little boy dressed as Yoda, he was about 2 and I would guess has no idea who Yoda is. I am curious to hear what his parents told him. Jason's favorite was a toddler dressed as a chipmunk; his parents were both wearing acorn hats! Maddie and Liam will be dressed up for our brunch/football game gathering on Sunday so we will get some more pics up.

Happy Birthday Mom (Grandma Carol)! We wish we could have spent the day with you, know that you are missed and loved every day even though we are far away!
