Granted Layla did not enjoy this all that much since she slept most of the time. But then, naps are quite enjoyable. It was a beautiful day - 60 and sunny - and a great day for an outing in the city. We met up with Carrie and Alice at their house and walked to the Farmer's Market (I got a fresh white peach smoothie) and then headed over to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It is a free zoo, which is nice and we supported them monetarily today by buying the girls little animal finger puppets. I got Layla a hedgehog and a penguin.
