Yesterday, we ventured over to the sandy channel area where Layla could "walk" and "swim". She wasn't so sure about this at first, especially since I pinched her ear putting on her suit (it doesn't tie, the straps are sewn together). But she wasn't unhappy about the actual water part. We tried again today with better results (no ear pinching!). She put her feet on the sandy bottom and "walked" along. She gave a little whimper when I first put her in the water but that was it. We splashed and played and I think she really liked it. Jason was sad to miss it, but I think we will bring her over to the pool soon!
